The tour guides, one for Greece and one for Turkey, were flawless. The cuisine was the Mediterranean diet on steroids, and the hotels well exceeded our expectations. We were glad we were on a smaller group tour because there are many more possibilities for exploring than on larger group tours. The food was delicious, giving us a real taste of the local cuisine. From the ancient ruins in Athens to the bustling bazaars in Istanbul, every day was an adventure.
