Rainforest, Aborigines Show and the very poor wildlifepark were more than dissappointing. Tour Cairns: Good, but too little time esp. in Palm Cove. Tour Daintree: lot of driving, little to see. Not worth going. Generally: The price was in the end much to high. I payed 1500 Euros! That means the hotel was charged with around 1000 Euro for 5 nights. The trip to the pontoon boat for the Great Barrier Reef was a disaster -- a packed boat, enhancing Covid risk (I tested positive three days later after having avoided covid for three years!), lousy food, colorless corals hardly visible through the glass bottom boat, a submersive boat ride with corals only visible on one side of the boat (not mine!) and almost no fish, except for the staged feeding time.Show moreDelightful Travel commented on this reviewHi Joyce, Thanks so much for the reply.
