Mary· February 1st, 2025I have travelled to over 100 countries with various travel agencies. I have to say that this is the worst tour that I have ever taken. My fellow travellers all agreed that we will NEVER travel with this tour company again. We did not get our hotel list only few days before departure and we have to ask them multiple times before we finally got it. Fellow travellers who joined Wingbuddy got their hotel list and details on Dec 30 2024. We have requested for twin bed and was told that they will request but availability is subject to the hotel's occupancy. We went to all hotels and they told us that they never received the request. Thankfully all hotels were helpful and were able to accommodate our request. We were the only 2 travellers who have no idea what to do with our Oman visa while the rest of the group shared that Windbuddy took care of it for them. The tour is composed of members who joined the tour with different itineraries and duration. The guide in UAE was a poor communicator. He would share tour info generally and we had no idea if that info applied to whom? We ended up having some tour members double booking their optional tours with no refund. The tour guide told us tickets to some sites are sold out but he can get tickets for us for a much higher price. When my fellow travellers arrived at the site, tickets were available for sale at the regular and posted price!! On leaving UAE, I do not feel that I have visited UAE as I know so little about its culture, etc except I have seen a few buildings. The only saving grace for this tour is the Oman guide Mahmood Al Hinai. He is professional and informative. He shared info with us systematically and was very respectful towards each and everyone of us. He attends to details and is very considerate. We learned so much about Oman that we felt we have really visited the country. I would never recommend this tour to anyone.Show more

- DBDianne· February 18th, 2024Good overall trip but the brochure needs some updating as some sights are closed and will continue to be so for a very long time. It was distracting having different groups come and go from the UAE portion. In the Oman portion we had two different language guides which was also distracting. Grayline vehicles had problems several times and caused us to join other buses and other bus breakdown passengers to join us. It was not ideal. Due to picking up other stranded tourists we had one hour to gallop through the Louvre in Abu Dhabi! Guides were scrambling to cover the itinerary. Oman part of the tour was much better organized with the same small group. Hotels were fine and the food was very good everywhere. A welcome meeting would have been a nice thing. Burj Khalifa in Dubai was amazing and the landscapes in Oman are breathtaking. I joined to the tour on my own but I met marvelous travel companions. I have to give a very special mention for Mohammed (travel guide in Oman). He made the difference of the tour. He is really professional and loves his work. All decisions he makes are for customers can take the most of the tour. He is wise, sensible, sensitive and really fun person! I will have these memories in my heart and mind all my life. - AMAmelia· April 3rd, 2022This trip was fantastic. It was packed with lots of activities and places to see. Really got an in-depth insight on UAE - Oman historic culture. The itinerary was very fast paced and we got to see a lot, which was desired. The tour was very organized and our group guide, Mohammed was very knowledgeable of the places we visited. The hotel, although basic, was clean and very comfortable. The food and drink was quite good from the included meals. Mohammed did his best to accommodate everyone. I'd recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see as much as possible in such a short time frame.
