  Sonia is a great trip planner - she is responsive and accommodating to one’s tastes and preferences. Always helpful and tried to assist with queries as well as offering guidance on visas. From the moment of pickup to the moment of drop off we felt we were in great hands. Our driver Praveen waited for us at the airport and was our trusted chaperone for the duration of our stay. He was the friendliest and most caring driver we could wish for! His car was modern and cleaned every day to make sure we were most comfortable during the city stops as well as the longer drives through the golden triangle. He also made sure that our lunches and toilet breaks were in the most clean and trusted places in every city. Bottled water was provided. He was always on time and his multi decade expertise driving in India made us feel at ease and safe throughout the journey. Praveen is also incredibly knowledgeable and was ready to answer our many questions on India’s heritage and culture, share unforgettable stories on hindu deities and mythology as well as being very open minded to discussing any themes. This made the long hour drives pass very quickly and it is definitely something we will not forget. Finally, Sonia arranged the best tour guides that met us in the different cities allowing us to walk the streets safely and enrich our visits with their shared knowledge. Overall we had a great time and would definitely recommend this service to anyone looking to explore India safely and in a relaxed way!

  I can’t rate the Joyful team highly enough. Sonia from the office organised and made all the changes I asked for. Rampal our driver was fabulous. And Mandeep our driver in Amritsar was so thoughtful! Our guides Sandy in Amritsar and Alka in Agra were fabulous! I can’t recommend the team highly enough. We came, we saw everything, got great photos, ante and drank and did not get sick!

  Everything was perfectly organized! Sonia took care of every detail, making us feel secure and supported throughout the trip. From the planning stage to the trip itself, and even during unexpected situations, Sonia was always there for us. She responded to emails and WhatsApp messages within minutes, providing prompt and helpful solutions. Our driver, Raju, was with us for the first seven days, ensuring we were comfortable and well looked after. He provided water, made sure we were safe, and drove us around with great care. Special thanks to Alvina in Delhi! Having a female tour guide was such a wonderful experience—she was knowledgeable, professional, and made us feel completely at ease. The other guides we met were excellent as well. This trip exceeded our expectations, thanks to the incredible team who made it seamless and memorable. Highly recommend their services!

  As a blond girl, I didn’t know what to expect traveling alone in India. Thanks to the support of the drivers & local guides - I felt safe, supported, carried & welcomed at every place. For sure ask Mr Ajay as your driver and talk about the Indian culture - I learned a lot from him by driving together for hours. I also would like to thank Mr Dj in Varanasi for opening up my mind in stead of telling me history stories only. Thanks to everyone I could feel like a queen ???. Last but not least, the cute Sonia checked on me every day how I felt and how she could help me. Last minute my flight got changed so she had to help me reschedule our whole 6 day tour together - she made the best out of it! So grateful for this experience. Don’t doubt - Sonia’s company is making every dollar count.

  Embarking on the Golden Triangle in India presented a tapestry of experiences. Despite minor hiccups with hotels and cleanliness, promptly communicated to Sonya, the journey unfolded with cultural richness. Jaipur and Jodhpur revealed their historical treasures through temples and forts. The safari in Ranthambore added an adventurous touch, while interactions with camels and elephants left indelible memories. Amidst these adventures, our driver Parveen stood out — driving safely, exuding courtesy, and a friendly charismatic personality. Undoubtedly, we'd hope to be able to use Parveen’s services again in our next trip.

  Amazing trip! Highly recommend this tour operator. Do not look further! Just from the beginning when I contacted Sonia Handa, the owner, she was very helpful, friendly and will make your dream trip a reality. She will greet you at the beginning of the tour and explain how she started her company. She will check in to ensure everything goes smoothly. The hotels and tours exceeded our expectations! We especially enjoyed our fantastic driver Gulab, who always made sure to drive us to our destinations on time with great conversations. Gulab is very friendly and professional, his car is very clean and he ensures that you have an amazing trip! India is a beautiful & interesting country; and its people are very hospitable. Sonia will incorporate the best locations and tour guides into your itinerary. Thank you for making us live this wonderful experience!!

  The trip was amazing. I fully recommend Joyful holidays. From the minute we were met at the airport everything was organised and well managed. Joyful holidays checked in with us every day. Our super driver Praveen made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble.He looked after us with 5 star service for the whole of the trip and he made us laugh everyday with his great sense of humour!   I have been wanting to visit India for years and finally decided to go to coincide with the World Cup cricket. As part of the trip I wanted to see the attractions of the golden triangle as everyone does. I found Sonia's Joyful Holidays company online and booked up. All throughout the build up to the trip Sonia was helpful in answering all my questions and when I met her at the start of the trip she told me her background and how she managed to educate herself with the help of her parents and ultimately start a business. This, as well as the fact that she now trains up other young women into the business was very inspiring. The trip itself was great. I stayed in some lovely hotels, especially the one in Ranthambore. My driver Dev was a very polite young man who drove me everywhere and was always helpful and good company. The guides that were provided at each destination were all very informative and were quite humorous just for good measure. All in all I had a great few days on what was a jam-packed tour and really grateful for the experience.
