- TMThomas· January 24th, 2025Cold weather and warm people. From the moment I booked the trip, the company was extremely responsive, friendly, and informative. The jeep ride was crowded but beautiful. Make sure to keep your phone within arm's reach for quick pictures. The food was great and was always western portion sizes. The lodges were cold but comfortable. The distances were appropriate for each day with our longest day only being about 17 miles. Recommendations: Bring a light sleeping bag. They can loan one to you but it's heavy and it takes up a lot of space. Don't bring just one big jacket. Bring layers with successive warmth ratings so you can add or remove clothing as you walk. My rain jacket and rain pants were great choices for lightweight layers to help block the extreme winds. About 20000 rupees should help cover extra costs and the tip for your guide (if your guide is as awesome as mine was).Show moreTrip date: January 2025
