Did a Kilimanjaro climb with Great Lake Expedition, as well as a safari. For both, absolutely great pre-trip guidance & advice (thanks Damsoni), and great team of guides, drivers & support staff. Safety was a top priority, especially during the climb: twice-daily med-checks, walking & climbing support, and comfortable tents (including the hot-water bunnies!). Special thanks to Sam, Thomas, Innocent and Tom, as well as Jacky! As to the safari, special thanks to Abdul who drove safely, located some great game and treated us to some great 'picnics' along the way.

We selected Great Lake Expedition as our outfitter and went on a safari. I knew I had chosen the proper choice for our trip from the moment I first spoke with you. Raphael planned an adventure we won't soon forget because he recognized our needs! They have surpassed our expectations since they have a true understanding of what they do and because of their knowledge and experience. Furthermore, they gave us a lot of assistance when we encountered difficulties landing at Kilimanjaro airport due to aircraft delays and cancellations. .

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 23rd, 2025 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 23rd, 2025, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Great Lake Expedition. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Great Lake Expedition will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Great Lake Expedition" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
Cancellation Policy
- Your money is safe with TourRadar, as we only pay the tour operator after your tour has departed.
