Upgrading gave us our own personal driver and this is how we met the wonderful Jayalath Samarakone. We experienced wonderful places, cultural experiences and authentic food during our programme, all of which was enhanced by Jayalaths helpful and professional knowledge. I would definitely book again to see additional sites of Sri Lanka. Highlight for us was a Safari in Udawalawe National Park. This was truly an unforgettable adventure. - DADaniel· January 13th, 2025My sister and I just completed this 7 day tour of Sri Lanka last week. We got to see all the main highlights of this beautiful country in a short time period. We had Jaya as our driver and tour guide, he was excellent and very knowledgeable about his country and all the places we went to. He was always ready to pick us up on time quickly and drove very safely and comfortably to each destination. He also agreed to every request if we wanted to stop anywhere in particular and gave us all our options for every day and recommended the best time for each. Highly recommend Jaya! The only criticism we have is that the quality of hotels were not very good, we did expect it considering the overall cost of the tour was not too expensive but they were probably worse than we anticipated. A few of them were also quite remote with not much around them or anything to do. Also, I had requested and confirmed with Beauty Lanka for twin bed rooms but on arrival at each hotel they were all queen/double bed rooms so my sister and I had to share a bed, even after I asked each hotel.
